Drain Repairs
When you are having problems with your drains, either a persistent blockage, rodent infestation or house subsidence, the first thing you need to do is investigate with a cctv drain survey.
The survey will provide details of any damage, depth of the drain, access to the problem area and any connecting pipework, all of which will determine the best form of drain repair.
Drain repair options
From the drain survey we will know if it is possible to first try to repair drain with a structural soft felt lining or structural patch lining which is less invasive and a more economical solution.
Drain lining
This is an efficient and low cost method of doing a drain repair. The liner is inserted into the faulty pipe which is a simple way of returning faulty pipe-work to efficient working order.
The benefits of drain lining are:
- An easy to install method
- A cost effective repair solution
- Minimum disruption
- Creates a barrier against root growth
- Ground movement resilient solution
- Low friction for improved flow
Drain excavation
Most drain damage can be repaired by inserting a drain liner, but sometimes the damage is too severe to be repaired by a pipe lining and a drain excavation needs to be undertaken.
Our drainage engineers have many years of experience in drain excavation and use specialist drain excavation equipment when needed, to produce the best results with minimum disruption.
Once we have located the damaged or broken drains, we replace the section of faulty drainage with high quality replacement parts and leave the drains fully working for years to come.
